Warm, rich and naturally distinctive, our Chestnut & Reddish-Brown Nguni Hides celebrate the beautiful earthy colouring found within the Nguni breed. From deep chestnut to warmer reddish-brown tones, every hide has its own natural markings, colour variations and individual character.

Rooted in South African heritage, these genuine Nguni hides are ethically sourced within South Africa and carefully processed and finished in our own tannery. They are not imported, and each hide represents the natural beauty and diversity for which the Nguni breed is treasured.

Every hide is individually photographed, so the hide you select is the exact hide you will receive. Only hides in which chestnut or reddish-brown is a prominent colour should be included in this collection, even where the hide also features white, cream or darker markings.

Pricing may differ according to the hide’s grade, size, pattern, colour balance and rarity. All our hides undergo the same careful tanning process, with the grade primarily reflecting the natural condition and markings of the individual hide.
