Specially formulated for genuine hair-on hides.
For General Cleaning:
- Lightly vacuum, following the natural hair direction of the hide. Use a brushless nozzle.
- Lightly sweep using a broom, following the natural hair direction.
- Avoid Excessive moisture
- Do not machine wash.

Nguni Hide no. AGD7131 is a genuine, one-of-a-kind Nguni cow hide featuring a predominantly brown hide with creamy white along the sides and a narrow irregular white markings in the top centre.
Its distinctive colouring, natural pattern and individual markings give it a character that cannot be reproduced. The hide pictured is the exact hide you will receive.

This hide has been ethically sourced within South Africa and carefully finished in our own tannery in Dundee, KwaZulu-Natal. It is locally sourced and locally finished—not imported.
Understanding Your Select Grade
AGS (also Known as) A Grade Superior Hides are selected for their excellent hair condition, attractive natural patterns and limited visible markings or imperfections.
A Grade (also known as) A Grade Hides offer the same professional tanning and finishing quality but may show slightly more natural character, including subtle branding, healed markings or minor variations in the hair.
Every hide is processed and finished to the same careful standard in our tannery. Its grade refers to its natural condition and visible markings—not the quality of the tanning or workmanship.
Why Prices Differ
Each Select Nguni hide is individually priced according to its grade, as well as the rarity and demand for its particular colour and pattern. A hide with an especially striking pattern, unusual markings or sought-after colour combination may be priced higher than another hide of the same grade.
